AFD welcomes you to the Minka peace and resilience platform, which presents the achievements of Minka projects.

Any connection to the site is subject to compliance with these conditions. For the internet user (hereinafter referred to as the user), simple access to the Site implies acceptance of all the conditions described below and commitment to comply with them.

Presentation of the Site

The purpose of the Minka peace and resilience platform is to provide information on projects funded through the Minka instrument, an AFD instrument dedicated to preventing and responding to crises and violent conflicts. It provides information on the projects funded, the activities implemented and their results. The Site is accessible here: https://paix-resilience-minka.afd.fr/intro. This Site is designed in French. For your convenience, AFD provides an English version.

Disclaimer and responsibility

AFD, which owns the Site, strives to ensure the proper functioning and computer security of the Site as well as the accuracy and updating of the information disseminated on it. However, AFD cannot guarantee the accuracy, precision or exhaustiveness of the information available on the Site. It is up to the users of the Site to verify the information by other means, including by contacting AFD’s Fragility, Crisis and Conflict division.

The user is aware of the risks associated with the use of internet services. Therefore, they acknowledge and accept:

Intellectual property rights

AFD holds all copyright on the Site and on the services offered by the Site, with the exception of content for which intellectual property rights are held by third parties and in particular content or sites to which the Site points via hyperlinks.

In this regard, and in accordance with the provisions of article L.122-5 of the intellectual property code, only private use is permitted subject to different or even more restrictive provisions of the intellectual property code.

Consequently, any other use constitutes infringement and is sanctioned under the provisions of intellectual property law, unless prior written authorization from AFD.

It is thus forbidden for the user, apart from this use, to copy, modify, distribute, transmit, broadcast, represent, reproduce, publish, grant in the form of a license, transfer or otherwise exploit the contents present on the Site.

 

Reporting abuse

AFD strives to preserve the quality of the Site’s content.

If you notice or believe that the content distributed on the Site is manifestly illegal, report it by filling out this form.

Any abusive notification exposes you to civil or criminal penalties.

Right of reply

Should you consider that part of the content harms your image, you have the right of reply by filling in this form.

Your right of reply will be published within three working days from the date of receipt of your message. Any abusive notification may render you liable to civil or criminal sanctions. 

Prohibition of mirroring

No posting of the Site by a third party under another URL is permitted without the express and prior authorization of AFD.

Hypertext links

As stated above, AFD is not responsible for the content published on the Site for which it does not hold the intellectual property rights and in particular the content or sites to which the Site links.

AFD reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without having to justify its decision, to prohibit these links. Integrity of the contract

These general terms of use express the entirety of AFD’s rights and obligations.

If one or more of the clauses of these general terms and conditions of use come to be declared void, deemed unwritten or set aside in application of a law, regulation or following a final decision rendered by a competent court, the other clauses of the general conditions would retain their binding force within the limits of said decision.

Applicable law and competent courts

These general conditions of use and the Site are governed by the provisions of French law.

Failing to find an amicable solution within a reasonable period of time, any dispute that may arise in connection with the use of the Site, or in the interpretation and application of the general conditions of use will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
